Located in the museum city of Pereiaslav approximately 90km from Kyiv is a quaint wooden church that is over 130 years old. Originally used as an actual church in the village, in 1979 it was transformed into a space museum housing exhibits such as satellites, rocket engines, space suits and hundreds of other interesting space related items and memorabilia.
Aside from the Museum or Space Exploration, Pereiaslav has over 30 museums in the territory of it’s Museum of Folk Architecture and Life.
Bald and Bankrupt famously tried to visit the museum twice on his YouTube channel, but failed as it was closed both times. It’s only open during the day and closed all day Mondays. It may be best to contact them via their web site or phone to check they are open before making the day trip from Kyiv.
